Howdy from TX once again, Sorry, this will be a bit wordy. Listening to this post caused me to think back about 3 years ago to when I was personally challenged via a particular Bible lesson from our pastor in which, during an illustration, he mentioned that there were many who had sacrificed much so they could relocate near the church in order to attend BIble study face-to-face. (This being said due to the many “satellite groups” listening live around the country). The seed was planted at that moment, & I knew exactly where we would be if indeed God wanted my husband & I there. Well, 3 years later we arrived in TX from MO, studying the Word with like-minded believers, under a gifted, and most importantly well-prepared pastor. It was truly amazing how God worked every little thing out in His perfect timing to get us to where we are now. While something as drastic as uprooting oneself isn’t possible, or even necessary, for most, my POINT is the importance of what you said your post, and that is we must be unafraid to follow Gods leading. Tougher times are looking inevitable, but the truth is we’re only here for a little while, right? I already feel so bad for folks who have no spiritual stamina & no strength in their souls for the difficulties that are looming on the horizon. So, many thanks again, Anthony, for your faithfulness. You and your family will remain in our prayers. And keep up the good work and encouragement!

    • Cheryl,

Thanks for your comments. It seems you and your family made a very big move based on faith. Yours is a wonderful stroy of how Our Lord provides for His people.

It sounds like you have a wonderful Bible centered church and a pastor that preaches the Word in season and out of season. Spiritual growth and maturity are taking place there.

We are certainly in tough times both economically and spiritually. One way to look at it is that the real followers of Christ will be sorted from the false.

Blessings to you and your family as well and I will be in prayer for you and your church.

      Blessings In Christ
      Anthony (Isaiah 40:29)
