In Matthew Chapter 6, Jesus tells us something of the utmost importance.  This statement can be used by every Christian to check and see if they are living out their Christian lives in line with biblical truths.  The statement is made in Matthew 6:33 and I believe it is a major stumbling block for many of us that call ourselves Christians.  Jesus states, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (NIV).  We know from Matthew Chapters 5 through 7 that there are some of the most important and significant teachings in all the bible.  They are spoken by Jesus to throngs of people (The Sermon on the Mount).  These are the teachings of our creator and savior and should be studied, absorbed  and applied by all Christians. sol•i•tude \ˈsä-lə-ˌtüd, -ˌtyüd\ n

1           the quality or state of being alone or remote from society seclusion

2           a lonely place (as a desert)

syn solitude, isolation, seclusion mean the state of one who is alone. solitude may imply a condition of being apart from all human beings or of being cut off by wish or circumstances from one’s usual associates 〈a few quiet hours of solitude〉. isolation stresses detachment from others often involuntarily 〈the isolation of the village in winter〉. seclusion suggests a shutting away or keeping apart from others often connoting deliberate withdrawal from the world or retirement to a quiet life 〈lived in pastoral seclusion〉.
